Welcome to the Wombourne Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club Website. We are very proud to share details of our prestigious club with you.
Our exceptional Club was established in 1875, after the land the Club sits on, in the heart of the picturesque village of Wombourne, was gifted to its people by the Shaw-Hellier family, for the sole purpose of recreation.
The Club has a wealth of sporting history, becoming the much loved, vibrant and meticulously maintained sporting venue it is today, offering an inclusive and diverse setting.
We recently became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, securing the club for future generations and supporting the continuing development of the Club.
Our sporting facilities are second to none, offering three excellent Tennis Courts, exceptional bowling greens and a cricket field the envy of many a club. Our state-of-the-art practice nets add the final perfect touch.
Club House.
The Club House is comfortably appointed, and our patios are perfectly situated to take in the best of the day, where you can while away the hours, take in a match, or just socialise with a very reasonably priced tipple.
Our rooms can also be hired at competitive rates.
We have an incredible entertainment team who deliver a superb entertainment programme during the closed season.

We have a long and proud history here at WCTB, and it is great that some of that history has been captured for posterity, by photographers of the day.
