Cricket Section.
Wombourne Cricket Tennis and Bowling Club Cricket Section is proud and steeped in history and tradition. Cricket within our community is a way of life, having been an integral part of life since at the Club since established in 1875.
When you drive through the village on a Saturday afternoon between April and September, you will see a scene second to none – two cricket teams in their whites playing the great game in surroundings that can only be described as stunning.
Our four senior teams participate within the South Staffordshire County leagues:
- 1st XI Premier Division
- 2nd XI 1st Division
- 3rd XI 4th Division
- 4th XI 8th Division
Our Junior section starts with All stars cricket for the younger ones and progresses to Under 17’s throughout all age groups. We play our Junior competitions in the north Worcestershire Leagues during weekday nights and Sunday mornings.

Our recently formed Ladies and Girls section continues to grow in numbers where a balance of development, competitiveness and enjoyment is key to the ever-increasing popularity of female cricket.
We are a friendly, sociable and inclusive section offering Cricket for all ages and ability.
Being a Clubmark registered organisation and operating alongside a Safe-hands management system, we aim to provide a well presented, safe and welcoming environment for all our members and those using the facility and operate on a non-discriminatory and fair basis. At Wombourne Cricket Tennis and Bowling Club, cricket is for everyone.
